The History of Time Travel: 2010s So Far

The first half of this decade has seen some great and successful movies for time travel. We start in 2010 with the release of the comedy Hot Tub Time Machine. When people think of the 1960s they might think of The Beatles, Woodstock, JFK and Vietnam. Movies during this decade would see some important releases including Psycho, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Easy Rider and the first James Bond film. However the 1960s would be a pivotal decade for time travel. The History of Time Travel:The Early Years

Time travel would have a presence during the early years of film. It would be seen in from early short films and silent movies to musicals and horror. A Christmas Carol The earliest known use of time travel in a film could be found in the earliest film adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
